Mangal (clamshell) earrings

Mangal is the Yawuru word for clamshell. These earrings were designed by Yawuru-Nirumburr artist Marie Manado.

Marie’s ancestral groups are all saltwater peoples and this is where she draws her inspiration from.

Pearlescent pink acrylic with handpainted white details and a recycled bamboo organic circle and stainless steel post.
